1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 cups bread flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ(toasted)
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Toast the wheat germ by spreading it out on a baking sheet. Cook in a 350 degree oven until it starts to turn brown. Place all ingredients in the bread machine. Use a 1.5 lb., medium basic cycle. Description: "from BML and Better Homes and Gardens"
